The blanket of pine needles beneath Luna's feet silenced her hoof falls. Streaking through the forest with easy familiarity, the trees she darted between flew by the hurdles on a jump course. Every now and again, she would crane her head back and make sure Rolex was keeping up. I hope everyone accepts him. She thought distantly, although she was certain they would. The deer needed all the help they could get. Ferns and thorned brush parted as she slid her body through the ring of defense surrounding the Deers' Camp. The sun was slinking down to the horizon and there was a considerable bustle at camp. Does were crossing the clearing with fresh moss in their mouths to line nests for their fawns and scouting parties were returning. Luna spotted Solark speaking to a Scouting Doe. She walked across the pine needle covered ground and butted Solark on the shoulder. The large buck looked at her crossly before finishing up his conversation and turning to her. "This had better be good." Luna missed being able to interrupt his conversations. "We have a new member of The Camp."

Hues of Gold fell on the Leader. A similiar staure to 'imself. The camp bustled with faces that flickered to 'imn before turning away once more. Young fawns dancing around nmot knowing what world of danger they lived in. 'e watched them happily thinking how nice there lifes must be. Care free and happy. He then waited for Luna to return.

Solark immediately flicked his eyes upon the newcomer. Large antlers twisted and stretched sky wards atop his head- his ears were just as large as Luna's, dish like and all-hearing. After sizing up the buck he strode past Luna and stepped up to him. Lune followed, looking a bit put off. "Solark, this is Rolex." Solark nodded curtly. "Welcome. So you wish to join?" (((ooc: ugggggghhh.... no muse )))

Solark stilled his mighty head as his ears froze in rapt attention. If he can successful infiltrate our ranks, he will be a great aid to our cause. The lithe buck was knotted with muscle from hoof to nose. They were combat muscles, however. He had built his body up more for fighting than running. "If you can get through the training, you will be an admirable addition to The Camp. We train for both speed and combat values, as well as scouting and navigational ones. For a time it will be more work than excitement. Still interested?" His round owl-like eyes narrowed in curiosity, and veiled his plots beneath. Luna had been standing silently beside Solark, fuming and looking around The Camp.

Solark took a few somewhat silent seconds (complete silence was impossible when standing smack dab in the middle of Deer Camp- a young male fawn happen to be howling about being kicked in the nose at the moment...) to look over Rolex, the buck. He was beginning to like the willing soldier, and he saw promise between the young deer's antlers. "Welcome to camp, Rolex." He gave Rolex one last penetrating glance before turning to leave. "Wait, Solark." Luna stepped forward and spoke with Solark about the nearby horses. Her ears were peeled backward in irritation the entire conversation. They nodded curtly, and parted. Luna bounded over to Rolex. "I knew you'd be accepted." She smiled, herbs at her feet. "I'll show you the nests if you're ready to sleep." Luna's body sighed in relaxation. The sun-dappled camp soothed her, depending of course, in whose company she was in.

Luna snagged sight of the fawn-buck interaction from the corner of her eyes before padding over. She smiled to herself; she had sensed the sequestered goodness in the buck's lean body. Wondering if Rolex had previously interacted with such a large hodgepodge of fawns, elders, and spry deer, she nodded. "Then come this way!" She whirled around, sweeping in and out of roving deer. "The fawns retire over there, under that low-growing dogwood." She indicated with her soft, triangle nose to a shaded bit of terrain in the very back of camp. Fawns had to lower their heads even to enter the place, for dogwood branched grew exceptionally low. "The elders reside by Solark's rock" A large- moss conquered rock knelt near the outskirts of camp. Solark slept atop it at night, and announced meetings and quick news from its peak. Bellow it was a wind-protected bit of trampled earth where the elders could rest. "And we sleep in the middle of them. So if either cries out in the night some one will hear." The grown deer's nests was surrounded by a handy ring of brush, twisted branches could brush the deer's hides at night, and if one was truly paining from inanition, a quick snack of its wood could suffice. "If you would like to go ahead and bed down, I am going to go check on the elders. Duma managed to cut her tail yesterday. I declare, they are the most skilled deer in creative injury I have ever encountered." Her round eyes sparked with good-nature as they stood in the growing shade.
