The pale from moved to circle the group, hoping to get away from the wandering eyes of the ebon vixen. Experienced talons sliced through the mud with ease as she moved slightly closer to the gorup, wishing to determine who else had come and what was his reasoning. Eclipse came within several paces of the group. Her form was now drenched though she found comfort in the cold drops that plastered her ghostly hide together. The banshee's bodice tensed as she drew nearer still, ready to turn tail and sprint if need come by her. The muffled syth's stopped as she once again looked at the ebon fairy who supported a well of information. Her orbs lock onto hers and she dare not move for fear of being found.

Blackhoof was now sure that she saw a water figure creeping closer and closer in the chill autumn storm. Narrowing her dark eyes she strained to make out any features, but in the angry current of rain it was an impossible feat. "Who goes there? Get your soaked hide out of that miserable wash and come in!" She called, cheered by her own sense of security. She felt nothing could hurt her tonight, nothing could brush her guarded heart.

Eclipse moved away from the sheltered camp, her towers piviting back in agrivation and her vocals coming out soft and muffled, [glow=SkyBlue,2,300]"Just as the secrets are about to be revealed I am revealed instead."[/glow] A scowl crossed her features attempting to determine how to regain a seat within an audible distance. The cream painted auds pinned as she knew of only one way, [glow=black,2,300]But why do you have to take that way now. Why not toy with the vixen's mind a bit.[/glow] Eclipse snarled as she heard the familiar voice within her head. He had been visiting her more often now then ever before and it was truely being to annoy her, [glow=blue,2,300]No, she has offered her hospitatity and I shall take it for. Then leave before the storm lets up...[/glow] Her blue pools looked to the heavens as her hide became more drenched with every ticking second, [glow=blue,2,300]And that wont be any time soon.[/glow] A bold smirk plstered itself along her face as she walked back to where the four equines stood. Her white pelt was now visible to even the blindest of horses as she stepped a talon into the dry grounds of the horses camp. She did not bother to shake herself as she entered, instead she watched the femme who had adressed her, [glow=SkyBlue,2,300]"I am Eclipse and find comfort upon feeling the rain soak to my bones."[/glow] She had a rather odd manner to her voice. It was barley an octive higher then a brujo, sort of like a colt's vocals. Not high enough to shriek as any fairy, but not low enough to demand attention as most brutes could.

Blackhoof looked over the sopping white mare. Her voice was low and it resounded round the sealed enclosure of the overhang. Blackhoof was rather taken aback by her ungrateful tone, but she shrugged it off. To each his own and I am merely the watcher of each... "Your soul may enjoy the rain but I'm sure your body does not appreciate its frigid tongues! You must be freezing. Winter is nearly upon us, you know." Blackhoof had dried out from her brief scrape with the rain, but the cold winds that licked the overhang reached her hide and chilled her.

"Hello," said the pony." My name is Misty Mountain, a wolf, named Plato, told me about this. Can I please join?" 'I'm so stupid!!' she thought. 'Of course they won't let me join!!'

Blackhoof's eyes widened in mild surprise. What had this small horse been doing with Plato, Leader of the wolves? A slight suspicion stirred in her chest. "Of course you may join. We welcome all who come willingly and with motives unsullied." She smiled "My name, as you might have guessed, is Blackhoof." The rain was beginning to ease up. The roar had dwindled to a pitter patter that hummed softly through the meadow.

Blackhoof watched the Diablo stallion wander out into the rain. He greatly interested Blackhoof. He puzzled her, because Blackhoof didn't know what he wanted. Diablo did not seem to be willing to submit to Blackhoof's authority, but he hung around the outskirts of Horses' Camp with great diligence. It wasn't suspicion that stirred in the black mare's eyes, but curiosity. (((ooc: Mucho flat post -_-)))

Eclipse's nares shot out a cold snort to the vixen's remark, [glow=SkyBlue,2,300]"As any horse with half a brain or at least orbs knows that winter is near. For if they did not notice the dead and dying leaves that littered the ground then they truly must be dense."[/glow] Her her voice rose slightly and her gaze shifted to the stag who now stood in the bone chilling liquid that warmed her soul. Envy soon gathered within her visuals. If she had not needed to be there then she would leave and prance under the rain, but now that was not the case. Her talon lifted as she attempted to defy the voice that now shrieked in the back of her mind, [glow=black,2,300]If you take a step into that rain do you not think the others would stair, and you never reach our goal? Look at how she now stairs upon the brujo.[/glow] It's vocals rang out in her auds and she stopped her quivering legs from stepping, [glow=blue,2,300]You are correct. If I take a step in the fire then they will find it odd.[/glow] She looked to the ground before moving to a far edge of the cave, awaiting for the wounded fairy to proclaim her past.

I cannot go on, Take other steps,
Not even his pinned ears could ignore the annoyed sounding whinnies and nickers drifting on the harsh winds. Dark brown eyes looked from the ground, focusing on the stormy grey horizon. No matter how he squinted, it was too difficult to see through the cloak of rain. The towering stallion sighed, his voice raspy. He had obviously been out too long. His black skin showed through his blue hairs, dulled to a grey without the brilliance of the sun. Lanky legs moved forward through the mud, hocks seeming to be wrapped around by unbreakalbe grass with every step, hooves tripping over every rock. It was a miserable sight and feeling. A melachony visage was showed on his blunt features, mane and tail alike being thrown up by the wind and slapping against his body with a painful sting. But he didn't dare run in fear of causing damge to his body, though he was now starting to wonder if a broken leg hurt more than wounded pride.
He paused again, an uneasy sounding stallion's voice breaking through the grumbling of the rain. Mud slathered body directed it's self to face the sound, brown eyes narrowing and peering through the numerous rain drops. There stood a figure as tall as himself, but much more filled out with muscle than the blue roan could ever hope to be. The black body was obvious against the grey storm clouds, and now that the roan peered behind him, he saw quite a few more figures. He started forward in a soft trot, tripping still but at least moving at a quicker pace. Blackhoof must be among the group, and the stallion was starting to wonder if the equine marking his path was her.
He took in a breath of air, the wind confirming nothing but his eyes did not fall him. Blackhoof was not the equine standing before him. Blue roan was a few feet from the black stallion, pausing for a breath and wondering whether or not to stop and greet him first. His face looked as though he would explode at the next horse to speak to him. Cautiously, the blue horse trotted in a nice round circle around the black stag and called out to the other horse-like figure,
"'Lo there Ladies and Lords. I, Tynan, have travelled far to speak with the one named Blackhoof."
Cause my way's not easy to go.

Blackhoof replied curtly to the horse dubbed Eclipse. "I did not intend to alienate you, provoke you, or hurt your cause. If it is your wish the freeze the very blood in your veins go right on ahead and step out into the rain. Though, as you so soundly put it, a horse with any sense would weather the weather in shelter." Her tone was light, but not jubilant. Her muddy eyes could see that this Eclipse had ulterior motives; whether benevolent, or malignant, she had yet to know. Blackhoof perked her ears as yet another voice cut through the rain. It was a young stallion, from the sound of it. "Get your bones out of that rain. The horse you seek speaks to you now." The black mare wondered what this newcomer had in mind. As the sky darkened cruelly, Blackhoof shivered. An overhand might be grand escaped from rain, but from cold it was helpless.

Tynan ducked his head to end the overhang, now able to lift it to it's full height in a more dignified look. He could only imagine what he looked like, rather unique looking blue pelt darkened to a miserable grey black, his mane and tail so tangled it was a wonder they were knotted together. His long drawned face was a perfect picture of despair, but that expression lingered often whether or not it was raining.
He bowed his head again, in a deep and respectful nod of greeting. A small, grim little smile touched his lips, nostrils red rimmed from his trip.
"As I have said before, I am Tynan. I come seeking not only you, Blackhoof, but a home as well," he told, an almost bitter note in his words. He was unpleased not with the horses themselves, but more of himself. Reasons why unknown.
Dark eyes flickered to the horses in the shadows, some of their eyes looking his way. He glanced away quickly, focusing his eyes on the round bellied mare before him and ignoring the stares.

Eclipse glanced at the young fellow for only a second before turning her attention upon the ebon stag that stood in the rain. Her auds pinned and she snorted back at him. The she-devil's orbs bore into the brute's skin like fire. She had somehow convinced herself that she could make some kind of fire or pain become him if she just continued to stare at him ceaselessly. So she stared out into the rain, waiting from fire or something to appear and cause him pain or anguish. Though all that appeared was a large bolt of lightning that tore across the cloud stained sky, hitting some foreign place that was far from her desired mark.

Blackhoof turned her so in-demand attention first to the Tynan stallion. He seemed true to his word; he looked a young stallion, fresh to the world, and looking for his place in life. "Well you may call Horses' Camp a home. We accept any willing horse who will help us in our quest for survival.... and whatever other opportunities may arise.." Blackhoof's voice drifted away as her thoughts clamped their jaws around her mind. She thought of Whitefire, her dear friend, and a bit of bitterness and regret seeped through to her heart. How could he forget her like he had? Did power really rip their friendship apart. Eyes glazed over in contemplation, Blackhoof saw Eclipse staring determinedly out into the rain. Now what? "Why don't you come over here and tell us a little bit about yourself? You too, Tynan." She flicked her ears, indicating that they should move closer.
