Paws crunched loudly upon the leaves of the forest floor as Savy rolled and tussled with branches. Her hasle pools closed as she nawed upon a particulaly large branch that had somehow rolled over her bouncing tail. Savannah's large ears pinned back as she jumped up from her wrestling match and pranced off into the forest. Say's paws stopped moving and became soundless as she stalked her prey. Her form had reached the clearing she had just left and her keen orbs staired at the large branch the laid motionless before her. Claws dug into the dusty ground and her muscles tensed ready to strike. Savannah's ears perked as she bounded forward and allowed her sharp teeth to gnaw upon the branch. Her sleek sides vibrated with pleasure as she continued to toy with her play stick.

A huge pale-gold tabby stalked amid the morning dew, paws and most of his lower legs soaked from the condensation in the rich green grasses around him. Rysam was his name. Sam for short. It ment ''the coming of the new age'' in the old arcane tongue of the feral cats, and the elders of his old clan had thought him destined for something great. The huge brute of a feline walked with the stout and proud diligance, coupled and contrasted by the liquid movements that made him who he was. A cat. And proud to be one. But there was no proud banner, aflicker with its own life undulating out behind him, nay, nearly a stubb of what once was. And his right orb squinted, but behind that lid was an empty socket. Battlescars marked his muscular bod, audits torn and twitching, swivelling like a pair of satillites top his low-slung dome.
Soon, lobes picked up the sounds of another. It was the sounds of a pleasurfull tussle, of a cat at play. As Sam narrowed his trail into a keen and sharp path onward, picking up the trail of the other, which had flattened the gras in some places with the traces and scent of wood and bark about. Surely enough, his single green orb caught siht of her. Her. A female...and a fairly small wildcat at that. Sam sat back and watched the leopard spotted female with abnormally large ears stalk and pounce upon her play stick. He smiled a small smile to himself as he remembered the olden days when he had a feather he took everywhere he went. His play feather. But that object now lay a long dusty memory in the forgotten synapses of his brain. Buried away neath olden parchments and dust-strewn books on those dirty old shelves of his mind. Oh to be young again.
For the longest time, Sam simply watched her play. He was mildly interested in the amusing spectacle, but sat back and waited to see how long it took for her to notice him. Sam tilted his ears back and yawned, exposing his lethal enamals which glinted in the early morning sunlight that filtered in through the canopy above him. A breeze ruffled across his whisker. Oh life was so very sweet.

The serval continued with her banter pausing every now and again to take note of her position. Though it took several times before her banter began to slow and her senses became alert to someone or something watching her. Small claws dug into the ground as Savy's legs stiffened, attempting to take note of where her audience was seated. No avail was taken to her youth though, instead inexperience gave way to failure. Savannah's pools of hasle green grew into large black orbs, tail twitching from fear and axiety, "Who's there?" Her vocals audibly shook as she tried to control the urge to run screeching off into the woods.
((ok that is pretty bad. This is my first time playing a feline. Could you maybe give me some advice?))

OOC:: To tell you the truth, I'm very new to this too. I'm a wolf RPer mostly, but I thought I'd try to be a kitty kat :3 lol - ya know, try something new. Anyways, I'm sure I could help out if you needed it. BIC:: Sam saw how visibly the youngster wildcat was frightened. How odd. Usually wildcats were a rowdy and brave bunch, full of adventure and motsy, but this one was acting like a wet kitten. Sam could see the way she was feining the flight instinct. Her adrenelin pumping, heart racing...blood flowing. Smiling, Sam flowed out from his hiding spot, his smile a disarming one, showing he ment no harm. The tail-less, one-eyed, honeysuckle, tiger-striped tom would have seemed a very imposing figure if not for that charming mug of his. He padded up with the liquid ease that earned him the name of cat and sat down a few tail-lengths away from the large-eared wildcat.
" 'Lo there miss," he purred, his voice was deep, like the rumble of thunder on the horizon. "What brings you to these parts?" OOC:: Garr, no muse X.x

((ooc: yeah. I do horses so this's a pretty big jump for me.)) bic:
The feline watch the tom intensly as he stepped form his hiding spot. She took in his charcater, eyes roving over his single orb and sturdy build; then down to where a tail should have been. He seemed to have a seasoned air that hung heavily about him. Though to her his vocals gave no hint of it upon his greeting. Savy rose to her slender paws, becoming close to the size of the tom's large build. It was not that she was old and acting underage. Nor was her size abnomal to her breed for she would grow to be about the size of a small Heeler dog. Large auds perked toward the male as her vocals floated thorugh the air, "Hello sir.To answer your question honestly, I am looking for company." She smiled slightly upon the thought then resotred her thoughts to the one who stood before her, "By the way, I'm Savannah, or Savy for short." Cranium thingyed to the side, towers near touching her shoulder. "And who are you to frighten a new comer upon these blades?" Savy could not withdraw the smile that was now plastered upon her features. She dearly wish to laugh at herself for acting so foolishly. It seemed rather silly for her suspicion to go off like that now that her 'stalker' stood before her.
