Gentle beats fell 'pon teh turf. Steady beats fell the crashing of the waterfall covered the slightnoise of 'is clovered 'ooves.
Hues glittered in stained amber. The condesed water fell o'er 'is marron coat. The fur rippled softly gently o'er 'im. Soft breath shimmered on teh air warming 'is muzzle.
Perfect stance was 'eld as 'e stpood in the cooling water. It swirled around 'is defined pillars. A crunch of fallen branches, made 'im erect 'is crania, harks flickered and poise lifted muzzle sniffed the air as a dainty rabbit hopped away, 'e then felt at ease to drink once more.

The leggy mule deer tip-toed near the lacy edge of the clearing. Her sun-sized eyes peered around large leaves that were fed from the spray of the majestic waterfall ahead. Yes... I thought I heard someone. She thought, craning her long, slender neck to get a look at the lapping buck. What's he doing here? Solark hasn't called a meeting today..... Her heart gave a lurch at the thought of her brash brother. What, oh what is he getting himself into? What is he getting us all into? Finally, The lightly-shaded doe stepped into the clearing with her thimble-like hooves leading the way.
"Hello. What are you doing here?" She didn't recognize the buck. He must have been one of the wanderers that came to join the Forest of the East's forces. (sry- this post probably isn't worth anything... my sister was sitting under my chair and talking/poking me the whole time 0.0)

The cinnamon colored doe stepped farther out of her blanket of brush. Intense sunlight trickled in through the leaf gaps and flooded the clearing like rain. She felt it wash over her and warm her pelt. It was strange- she was used to being shaded at all hours by the forest. But she was getting used to it. How could she not? This was the meeting place of the deer. This was to be an especially important place for her.
"I came here to retrieve water herbs... for healing." Her voice was soft and spongy, like wet moss. Her large, pool-like eyes scanned the area and sought out the plants she needed. The she spread her gaze back upon the stag.
"You're new here? Are you here to join the camp?" She inquired, trotting over to the pool's edge, and digging up a root with her front hooves.

"Yes, help would be nice." She admitted, finishing off the stubborn root with one last yank of her strong teeth. "If you would-" She pointed with her black satin nose, muddy from shuffling around in the pool-soaked dirt. "There are some cat tails over there that are very useful- I mean, they're not really cat tail! Goodness... it's just a plant called such... because... well... I don't know. I'm sorry- I just don't know if you foreigners know about plants and such. Do you? Do you have medicine deer? I've never left This Side." The tawny doe became flustered as she realized her horrid ramble. Lovely She thought. She suddenly decided to trust this buck- it was the least she could do after tormenting him with her rant. "I am Luna." She was quiet- wondering if the name would mean anything to him.

Luna flushed slightly at his praise- but she was relieved he did not seem to recognize her. She snatched up plants here and there with her snapping teeth, perfect for trimming plants in the forest. I wonder how those pointy-toothed wolves harvest medicine herbs? All the leaves must get caught in their teeth... Luna raised her sun-bathed head at his mention of horses. "Horses? Oh no. We'd better get to camp then." This would be his first time in the deer camp. Solark would be pleased by this weathered buck. "Some of the horses have been forming gangs. Sometimes they tromp into camp and steal herbs or scare fawns." There was great dislike in the rushed doe's voice. "If Blackhoof thinks this is the way to keep peace she is wrong." The hypocrite. How can she call for peace when her own troops are defying it? She wondered if Rolex would know what she spoke off- he was new, but from what he had told her, she had no doubt he was unprepared for trouble.

Luna watched him curiously- surprised he knew what he did about Blackhoof and her troops. He was right- she was not a born leader, and many of the meadow equines did not respect her because she was female. Being pregnant did not exactly help. Luna scooped up her herbs and bounded quietly after him, like only a deer can. "To the camp?" She mumbled between her jawful of plants.

'e nodded. 'is soft hues closed as the breeze picked up. 'is fur rippled softly in the breeze that shimmered through the side of the valley.
the scent of horses getting closer made him pick up a steady trot.

Luna streamed after him, tufty tail bobbing behind her. She pushed through the ring of brush that hid Waterfall Clearing with her head as she flattened her large, disk-like ears. Her fur prickled as branched grabbed at her neck and leaves sprinkled her back. Wafting into her alert nostrils, the sent of approaching horses made her wonder. What ARE these horses all about? Thimble hooves whispered quietly on the forest floor. (((ooc: I shall post at the camp )))
