To all it may concern, please be sure to read the most recent news thread. We all know TCOF has been pretty much dead this year, and we need to make some decisions. The Future of TCOF

For anyone who may read this,

Hello. Wow. First off let me say that I am sorry- I am so sorry to have become one of those sites that gently fades into oblivion at the end of the summer. Chalk it up to a late start, not enough members, interest, or oomph. Maybe a combination of all of these things.

From time to time I have thought of this place and wondered. Maybe someone out there has done the same. Some of you might be wondering what happened to me. I'll tell you what: Highschool.

Let me tell you guys, it's been one great paddle upstream. I am in the optional program at my school, and it is extremely challenging. I have managaed to maintain straight A's this year, and studying, homework, and projects have occupied most of my time. In fact, as we speak, I am chipping away at a geometry project. I have also been babysitting, spending time with friends, participating in school activities such as Wordsmith and football games, and just trying to figure things out. (I haven't yet) Life whisked me away from the computer.

I seriously doubt that any of TCOF's old members still lurk around here- most of you have probably forgotten all about this little nook on the web. This is maybe the second time I've looked in on the site in months, and it struck a chord to see that we had gained a member. WE GAINED A MEMBER. When no one was around, and all was quite desolate. I'm not saying activity has picked up, because it sure hasn't, but it has proved to me that it would be possible to make a comeback.

That only leaves one question: is this what we all want? Are there people out there who would be interested and dedicated to seeing TCOF pick itself off the ground? It would take work and time. I would need some truly dedicated staffers. And I would need the activity of you guys.

Is this what I want? I'm not sure. That's why I'll be testing the water in the future. Seeing what's left, and what could be. Although I have no expectations of such, any feed back from you guys would greatly help me in my decision. If, per chance, this falls through, or no interest is generated, I may pool my energy into a new site. A site for readers. Because therein lies one of the greatest joys of my life.

So what do you think? Should we give it another go? I've missed this place. I've missed you all.
